Welcome to the Master’s Programme “Banking-Insurance and Finance” of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Western Macedonia.
Today’s financial environment is changing constantly and places increasing demands on professionals with specialised knowledge, analytical thinking and the ability to understand and make use of the current tools of banking, insurance and finance.
With this need as our starting point, we have designed a Programme that combines a sound theoretical foundation with the practical application of knowledge. The use of modern teaching methods, specialised laboratories and databases, together with contact with the academic and professional community, creates an environment of genuine learning and development.
Of particular importance to us is direct contact with our students. Small class sizes and the distance learning format allow for an educational experience that combines flexibility, interaction and genuine support throughout the course of study.
The Programme is addressed both to recent graduates and to employees and professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge, strengthen their professional qualifications and create new prospects in their careers.
At the same time, we aspire to provide our graduates with the means for a broader academic path, including the possibility of continuing at doctoral level.
