What the Programme comprises

Studies are structured over three semesters. All courses are compulsory and each corresponds to five credits. In the 3rd semester, together with the last two courses, the master thesis is prepared.

Who it is addressed to

The Programme is addressed mainly, but not exclusively, to graduates of Departments of a School of Management and Economics and of related scientific fields, from Higher Education Institutions in Greece or recognised equivalent institutions abroad. Final-year students may also submit an application, provided that they successfully complete their undergraduate obligations before the close of enrolment.

How admission works

The evaluation of applicants is completed in three stages, by a selection committee appointed by the Department Assembly.

  1. Checking of the formal qualifications of the applicants.
  2. Scoring of the supporting documents, from which the order of ranking results.
  3. An interview, which may be held and which focuses on the subjects of the Programme.

Legal framework

The Programme was established by decision of the Senate of the University of Western Macedonia and has been accredited by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) by decision QA_1883/08-07-2025.
